Acceptable Use Policy

Using TranSpendly responsibly keeps the platform safe and trustworthy for everyone. These are the rules.

Last updated: July 2, 2026

1.Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes activities that are prohibited when using the TranSpendly platform and related services (the "Service"). It applies to everyone who uses the Service and forms part of our Terms of Service. We may update it as needed to keep the Service safe and lawful.

2.Lawful Use

You must use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including those relating to data protection, financial reporting, anti-fraud, and anti-money-laundering.

3.Prohibited Activities

You agree not to, and not to allow others to:

  • Publish false, fraudulent, or deliberately misleading financial information.
  • Upload or share content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or infringes the rights of others.
  • Violate the privacy of others, or publish personal data on public pages without a lawful basis and appropriate consent.
  • Use the Service to launder money, finance illegal activity, or evade sanctions.
  • Upload malware, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or connected systems.
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach security or authentication measures, without our prior written permission.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, including via denial-of-service attacks or excessive automated requests.
  • Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Service except through functionality we provide.
  • Resell or provide the Service to third parties except as expressly permitted.

4.Content Responsibility

You are responsible for all content and data you submit, and for anything you choose to make public. Before publishing a transparency page, ensure you have the right to disclose the information and that it does not expose confidential third-party data unlawfully.

5.Fair Use of Resources

The Service is provided with reasonable usage in mind. Automated or high-volume activity that degrades performance for others, or that exceeds documented limits, may be rate-limited or restricted. File uploads must comply with the size and type limits shown in the Service.

6.Security and Vulnerability Reporting

If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it responsibly to security@transpendly.com rather than exploiting or publicly disclosing it. We appreciate good-faith research conducted without harming users or data.

7.Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations of this AUP and take appropriate action, including removing content, restricting features, suspending or terminating accounts, and cooperating with law enforcement. Where practical we will provide notice, but we may act immediately when necessary to protect the Service or its users.

8.Reporting Abuse

To report a violation of this policy or abuse of the Service, contact us at abuse@transpendly.com with relevant details so we can investigate.
